The Michael Carter II Foundation was established on that belief. Rooted in faith, family, and a deep commitment to service, we exist to create pathways for individuals and families to access the resources, support, and opportunities they deserve.

Where you come from, should never limit where you are going.

This is a family affair.

The MCII Foundation was not built by one person. It was built by a family that has always understood what service means.

Michael's mother, Donna Carter, serves as Executive Director, bringing personal passion and professional expertise to lead the Foundation's vision and day-to-day operations. Donna works alongside a growing team of strategists, program designers, and community partners to deliver initiatives that move communities forward.

Michael’s father, Michael Carter, Sr., spent his career as a first responder, dedicating himself to protecting and serving his community. That spirit of showing up when it matters most lives in every program the MCII Foundation delivers. Michael's wife, Alli Carter, brings that same heart through her work as a labor and delivery nurse, a connection that directly informs the Foundation's commitment to supporting mothers and newborns.

This is not just a nonprofit. It is a family that has always known what service looks like.
